Experience atmospheric jazz under the open sky at Torvet in Ebeltoft.<\/strong> The summer of 2026 will once again feature swinging rhythms, talented musicians, and cozy Saturdays in the historic surroundings of the Old City Hall.<\/p>\n

Jazz p\u00e5 Torvet has become a summer tradition in Ebeltoft and attracts locals, vacation home owners, and tourists from all over the country every year. From late June through late August, you can enjoy performances by some of Denmark\u2019s best jazz bands every Saturday\u2014completely free of charge. <\/p>\n

Amid half-timbered houses, cobblestone streets, and cozy caf\u00e9s, the music creates a unique atmosphere that makes Jazz p\u00e5 Torvet one of the summer\u2019s most popular cultural experiences in Djursland.<\/p>\n

The season opens with an orchestra that blends the classic sounds of the jazz tradition with modern interpretations. With roots in the American songbook and the crooner tradition, the band performs both well-known standards and newer songs in an elegant and engaging style.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>

    Doc Houlind’s Real New Orleans All Stars<\/h2>\n

    A strong ensemble of experienced jazz musicians with roots in classic New Orleans jazz and the heyday of revival jazz. The band carries on the legacy of, among others, Papa Bue and the American orchestras that sparked the jazz boom in Europe.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>
