Ebeltoft Art Association/Tinghuset

Ebeltoft Art Association is located in Tinghuset at Torvet, just opposite The Old Town Hall. Tinghuset has throughout the ages functioned as town hall, courthouse, and police station. It was built in 1839 in a neoclassical style and is influenced by C. F. Hansen’s architecture and was at the same time the city’s first brick house. Visit the historic house and art exhibitions. Ebeltoft Art Association has lots of art on the walls and floor most of the year. Tinghuset is looked after and run by Ebeltoft Art Association, i.e. of volunteers and unpaid zealots.
