The Watchmen in Ebeltoft
For hundreds of years the watchmen have been known in Danish market towns. In Ebeltoft they were mentioned for the first time at the end of the 17th century. In 1953 the watchmen became a tourist attraction, and they have since been an enjoyable sight in Ebeltoft. In the summer high season (June 26th – August 28th) they start their round from the Old Town Hall at 7pm and 8pm
And at 9pm they end their round at the same location.
